Samantha started at Valley Health Connections in October 2022 after working for Mt. Ascutney Hospital since 2015. She is a VT native growing up in Rutland and fell into the world of healthcare and insurance by chance. She holds a BA in psychology and a MBA in Healthcare Management. She is passionate about helping everyone access and understand health insurance as it is important to be able to receive care when you need it!
Outside of running Valley Health Connections and helping patients she enjoys blogging about the books she is reading on Instagram, playing guitar, fishing, playing disc golf, setting up game nights with her friends, and kayaking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and her cat, Charmander.
Elizabeth is an eligibility assistance coordinator who has worked for Valley Health Connections since 2011. While obtaining a BS in Behavioral Science, Elizabeth developed a concern for uninsured and underinsured Vermonters. She feels very fortunate to work in a position where she can truly make a difference in the quality of patients’ everyday lives.
Outside of work, she likes to spend time with family and friends. She loves hiking as well as driving vintage sports cars with her husband, but she especially enjoys the precious moments spent with her two granddaughters. Other passions include gardening, interior design podcasting, and baking birthday cakes & chocolate chip cookies for everyone.
Jenny graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in Psychology in 2007, and then earned both her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2009 and 2012, respectively. After working as a psychologist for several years in Central Pennsylvania, Jenny returned to Vermont and continues to help others. Now, Jenny is focused on assisting the uninsured and underinsured in identifying solutions to help overcome barriers to meeting their medical and prescription needs.
Outside of work, Jenny is an avid hockey fan, animal lover, and dog mom to two adorable Puggles (Toby and Vinny).
Amanda grew up in California, moving to Vermont when she was a teenager, and began her life here in Springfield, Vt. As an Eligibility Assistance Coordinator here at Valley Health Connections, she hopes to be able to share some of her experiences and knowledge and support you in your insurance needs.
Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going to the beach, and enticing people with her eclectic cooking!
